제 9차 ALMA 여름학교 (ALMA Summer School 2026)  

한국천문연구원 ALMA 그룹에서는 2026년 7월 27일(월) - 7월 31일(금)에 걸쳐 5일 동안 **제 9차 ALMA 여름학교 (ALMA Summer School 2026)**를 개최합니다. 이번 여름학교는 전파간섭계와 ALMA를 소개하는 강의와 이미징 실습 등 기초적인 내용과 더불어 자기 보정 (self-calibration), 간섭계와 단일경 자료 결합 (interferometry data and total power -single dish- data combination), 선스펙트럼 분석(spectral line analysis)과 편광자료분석(Polarization) 등 심화 과정을 다루는 그룹 프로젝트로  구성되어 있습니다.  ALMA 자료 처리에  관심 있는 학생 및 연구자 여러분의 참여를 부탁드립니다. 자세한 사항은 아래를 참고하십시오. 

• 날짜 :2026년 7월 27일(월) - 7월 31일 (금)
• 장소 : 소백산 천문대
• 대상 : ALMA 자료 처리에 관심 있는 천문학 전공 대학생, 대학원생 및 연구원 (이전 여름학교에 참여했던 참석자 중, 이전에 참여했던 주제와 다른 프로젝트 주제에 참여하고자 하는 참가자 포함)
• 참가 인원 : 15 명 (최종 참가 여부는  등록 마감일 이후 1주일 이내에 개인 메일로 통보할 예정입니다) 
• 등록 마감일 : 2026년 5월 29일 (금요일)
• 참가비 : 없음 (다인실 숙박 제공, 식사 및 간식 제공)

ALMA Summer School 2026

The ALMA Group at the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI) is pleased to announce the 9th ALMA Summer School, which will be held over five days from July 27 (Monday) to July 31 (Friday), 2026. This school will include both introductory and advanced sessions, covering lectures on radio interferometry and ALMA, hands-on imaging tutorials, and group projects focused on topics such as self-calibration, interferometry data and total power -single dish- data combination, spectral line analysis, and polarization.

We invite interested participants to join us for this in-depth training opportunity. Please refer to the information below for further details.

• Dates: July 27 (Mon) - July 31(Fri), 2026 (5 days)
• Location: Sobaeksan Optical Observatory
• Participants: Undergraduate students, graduate students, and researchers in astronomy interested in ALMA data analysis, including previous summer school participants who wish to join a different topic of the group project from the one they joined before.
• Number of participants: Limited to 15 people (Final acceptance will be notified via individual email within one week after the registration deadline.)
• Registration deadline: May 29, 2026 (Friday)
• No registration fee, shared accommodation provided, and meals and snacks included
• Requirement: Participants must bring their own laptops for hands-on sessions
