2026 ALMA 관측제안서 작성 워크샵 (ALMA Proposal Preparation Workshop) 개최

한국천문연구원(KASI) ALMA 그룹에서는 오는 2026년 2월, “2026 ALMA Proposal Preparation Workshop”을 개최합니다.

본 워크샵은 ALMA 관측제안서 작성을 위해 필수적인 ALMA의 성능 이해, 제안서 작성 시 주의사항 및 리뷰 과정 등을 살펴보고, 참가자가 직접 관측제안서를 작성해보는 실습 위주의 프로그램으로 구성됩니다. 관심 있는 대학원생 및 연구원분들의 많은 참여를 바랍니다.

본 워크샵에서 제공되는 모든 피드백과 모의 심사는 관측의 기술적 타당성 및 제안서 작성법에 집중됩니다. 각 제안서의 개별 연구 주제 및 과학적 타당성에 대한 검토는 포함되지 않음을 미리 알려드립니다.

• 2월 2일(월): ALMA 성능 및 제안서 작성 주의사항, 리뷰 과정 소개 / 참가자별 관심 관측 대상 및 아이디어 발표 (PPT 1장)
• 2월 3일(화): Proposal Writing Guide, 기술적 타당성(TJ) 소개, 작성 경험 공유 / 그룹별 토론을 통한 기본 틀 작성
• 2월 4일(수) ~ 2월 5일(목): 제안서 집중 작성 및 피드백(기술/작성법 중심) / 모의 심사(Mock Review) 진행
• 2월 6일(금): 작성한 제안서 요약 발표 및 총평

2026 ALMA Proposal Preparation Workshop

The ALMA Group at the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI) is pleased to announce the "2026 ALMA Proposal Preparation Workshop" to be held from February 2nd to 6th, 2026.

This workshop is designed to provide practical guidance on writing ALMA observing proposals. It covers key topics including ALMA's capabilities, essential tips for proposal writing, and the review process. Participants will have the opportunity to draft their own proposals and receive expert feedback. We encourage the participation of graduate students and researchers interested in ALMA observations.

Please be advised that the feedback and mock reviews provided during this workshop will focus exclusively on technical feasibility (Technical Justification) and writing aspects. The workshop will not cover the evaluation of scientific topics or the scientific merit of individual proposals.
