행성과학은 태양계 우주 탐사를 통해 비약적으로 발전했습니다. 한국의 우주 탐사 역량을 크게 발전시키는 노력이 계속되고 있는 동안, 한국의 행성과학 연구진은 기존 우주 탐사선들 및 지상 망원경들을 통해 수집된 관측 자료, 연구실 실험, 이론적 수치모델링 등을 활용하여 미래 한국의 우주탐사에서 활용할 수 있는 과학적 목표를 활발하게 제시할 수 있는 연구적 역량와 긴밀한 연구네트워크를 마련하는 것이 중요할 것입니다. 본 세션은 태양계 및 외계태양계 천체들의 관측적, 이론적, 실험적 연구들을 환영합니다. 예를 들면, 최신 우주 미션과 지상 관측 프로젝트, 다양한 내부 및 지표와 대기 환경의 이해, 최첨단 이론, 실험 연구, 기타 행성과학 관련 우주생물학, 화학, 물리학 등 다양한 융합 연구들도 모두 환영합니다. 본 세션의 장기적인 목표는 국내 행성과학 연구자 간 네트워크를 강화하고, 더 나아가 국내외 연구자들이 함께 협력하여 공동연구의 아이디어를 개발하고 촉진하는 것입니다. 천문학, 우주과학, 대기과학, 해양학, 지질과학 연구자들이 다같이 모이는 KGU가 우리나라 행성과학 발전을 위한 좋은 토대가 되리라 기대합니다.

Unified Session (연합세션): Exploration of Planetary Systems with Diverse Atmospheres and Surfaces

Planetary science has developed significantly with space missions in the Solar System. While Korea develops space exploration capability, researchers in Korea may need to provide scientific goals that a future Korean space mission can achieve using available datasets, such as acquired data by previous space missions and Earth-bound telescopes, laboratory experiments, and numerical simulations. We invite researchers based in Korea to share up-to-date future space-/ground-based observation projects to better characterize bodies in the Solar System and extrasolar systems. We also invite topics covering diverse targets from interiors to atmospheres, cutting-edge theoretical studies, laboratory experiments, astrobiology, chemistry, physics, etc.. Our session will improve planetary research networking in Korea and develop collaborative research ideas in Korea and other countries.
