As the first research
institute for basic sciences in the nation, Korea Institute for Advanced Study
(KIAS) was founded in 1996 by Korean Government to promote excellence in the
basic science research. Located in Seoul, KIAS provides a unique research environment,
where its members as well as visitors can enjoy constant academic stimuli and
friendly administrative support. School of Physics at Korea
Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS) is seeking for outstanding KIAS Fellow
candidates in the field of Theoretical Physics. Areas of research include :
Astrophysics, Condensed Matter Physics, Particle Physics, Quantum Field Theory
& String Theory and Statistical Physics. Applicants should have a
PhD in the relevant majors is required at the time of appointment. We seek
applicants who have contributed to their research field through remarkable
research and possess potential to bring the research area to world-leading
level. Applicants are expected to strongly committed to and capable of
successfully conducting innovative research. Communication skills is also
