2024, Focus Meeting 4: Bridging the final stages of massive stars to
supernovae and transients
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased
to announce “Focus Meeting 4: Bridging the final stages of massive stars to
supernovae and transients”, in conjunction with the IAU General Assembly 2024
in Cape Town, South Africa. We will have the sessions held on 13-14 August
2024; please see the meeting webpage for more information:https://mssn-iau2024.utu.fi/
Early
registration and abstract submission are open through 1 March 2024, via the GA
webpage:https://astronomy2024.org/registration/
(Note that your
registration will allow you to access all the GA focus meetings and symposia.)
We encourage
participation from students and young scientists. IAU offers travel grants for
qualified participants, with the same application deadline.
We look forward
to your contribution and participation in Cape Town!

you receive this multiple times; please feel free to forward this information
to anyone interested.)
