한국천문학회 회원 여러분께,

한국천문학회 우주전파분과, 한국천문연구원 전파천문본부, 서울대학교

전파천문대는 "2023 전파 여름학교 및 전파망원경 사용자회의" 를 아래와 같이 개최하고자 합니다.

1) 일시

- 전파 여름학교 : 2023년 8월 21일 ~ 22일 (월, 화 1.5일)

- 전파망원경 사용자회의 : 2023년 8월 22일 ~ 23일 (화, 수 1.5일)

2) 장소

- 서울대학교 시흥캠퍼스 연수원 & 컨벤션센터 (경기도 시흥시 서울대학로 173)

- 전면 대면 (하이브리드 방식은 제공되지 않습니다)

3) 일정

- 첫번째 공지 (등록 시작) : 6월 20일

- 두번째 공지 (최종 프로그램 포함) : 7월 10일

- 등록 마감 : 7월 17일

- 등록 마감은 7월 17일 자정입니다.

- 등록비는 무료이며 숙식이 무료로 제공됩니다.

- 다만 숙박 수용 인원의 제한으로, 선착순으로 등록을 마감하려고 합니다. 이해 부탁드립니다.

5) 숙소 상황

- 서울대학교 시흥캠퍼스 연수동은 1인실과 2인실 방을 제공하고 있습니다.

- 학생들의 경우 성별에 따라 2인실을 우선적으로 배정하려고 합니다. 이해해 주시기 바랍니다.

- 숙소 배정은 등록 마감 후 개인적으로 연락드리도록 하겠습니다.

(English) First announcement of 2023 radio summer school and radio telescope users' meeting

Dear All,

We are pleased to announce "2023 radio summer school and radio telescope users' meeting".

The details on the summer school and meeting can be found below.

1) Dates

- Radio summer school : August 21 ~ 22, 2023 (Monday ~ Tuesday, 1.5 days)

- Radio telescope users' meeting : August 22 ~ 23, 2023 (Tuesday ~ Wednesday, 1.5 days)

2) Venue

- Seoul National University Siheung Campus Hotel & Convention Center (173, Seouldaehak-ro, Siheung-si, Gyeonggi-do)

- In person meeting only (hybrid option not provided)

3) Schedule

- First announcement (registration open) : June 20

- Second announcement (final programs) : July 10

- Registration close : July 17

- Registration will be closed on July 17 (midnight).

- No registration fee, and accommodation/meals will be provided.

- First come first served, as there is a cap on the number of reserved rooms.

- The details on the summer school and users meeting program will be available in next coming weeks.

5) Accommodation

- One-person and two-person rooms are reserved.

- Students will be most likely assigned to two-person rooms based on their genders.

- Individuals will be contacted once room assignment is done.

We hope that this summer school and users' meeting provide an opportunity to increase the interest in radio astronomy and to foster the Korean radio astronomy community.
