Call for Proposals of KaVA ( KVN and VERA Array )
Deadline; December 2nd, 2013, 08:00 UT.
*********************************

We invite proposal for open use observation of KaVA, a joint array of
KVN (Korean VLBI Network) and VERA (VLBI exploration of Radio Astrometry).
The joint array consists of four 20-m VERA telescopes and three 21-m KVN
telescopes, with baseline lengths ranging from 305 km to 2300 km.

This first open use will be on risk-sharing basis, and provide opportunities of
VLBI observation at 22GHz and 43GHz for astronomers who belong to
universities/institutes in Japan and Korea. Observation will be conducted with
single polarization (LCP) and data rate of 1Gbps. Available observation time is
200 hours between March and 15th June 2014.

Unfortunately schedule is very critical and the deadline of submission is
2nd December, 2013.
Proposals from astronomers who are not familiar with VLBI technique
are also encouraged.

More information of KaVA call for proposal can be found from
