APCTP Workshop on Astrophysics 2012 will take place from November 19 (Mon) to November 22 (Thu) at Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP) within Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), Pohang, KOREA. Researchers and students from Asia-Pacific regions including APCTP member countries will present and discuss their recent works and review the current status of research in following fields: Magnetic fields in Galactic center, Magnetic fields around black holes and neutron stars, Magnetic fields in accretion disks, Magnetic fields in Sun and stars, Magnetic fields in star formation, Magnetic fields in jets, supernovae, GRBs, Magnetic fields in interstellar medium, Magnetic fields in intergalactic medium, MHD Simulations, Primordial magnetic fields, and Earth Magnetosphere. The program consists of invited talks, contributed talks, and poster papers. We call for contributed talks and posters. Postdocs and graduate students are especially welcomed.

Accommodations:
A bulk of rooms at POSCO International Center has been reserved for foreign participants. It is located within POSTECH campus, and run by Hilton Hotel. Any additional accommodation needs will be provided through APCTP. Details will be announced later.
Financial Support:
A limited amount of financial support covering local accommodations and registration fee will be available for graduate students and young postdocs who do not have any financial resources. Those who need financial support should send an email describing their financial situations to mgp@knu.ac.kr. Only the participants who present papers will be considered.
Registration Fee:
The registration fee is 200 USD (100 USD for students), which is to be paid at the on-site registration desk either by cash or by credit card. Participants without any financial support may ask for the waiver of the registration fee.
