Successful applicants are expected to conduct original research independently or in collaboration with the KASI faculty. The appointment is initially for one year and can be renewed contingent on satisfactory performance. The positions are available immediately. The starting annual salary will be approximately US$30,000(KRW34,000,000 before tax). In addition to it, your travel expense to join the KASI will be refunded up to the amount of one way airfare. Also, conference and observing travel will be supported in accordance with the institutional travel expense regulations. Other benefits such as health insurance and dormitory space for basically single persons(might be shared) will be provided supplementarily. Interested applicants should submit a resume, a list of publications, a research plan, and two letters of recommendation signed by the recommenders as well as your final doctoral degree certificate.
