Summer School and Workshop MHD and Kinetic Processes in Laboratory |

Dear colleagues, We would like to call your attention to a summer School and Workshop on MHD and Kinetic Processes in Laboratory, Space and Astrophysical Plasmas that will be held in Peking University, Beijing, China, from May 30 ? June 9, 2011. The School and Workshop are jointly sponsored by the Fusion Simulation Center (FSC) and the Kavli Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics (KIAA) at Peking University. Through this summer School and Workshop, we hope to: 1) introduce plasma astrophysics and provide training to young scientists; 2) bring scientists from different fields together (laboratory, space, solar, and astrophysics) to exchange ideas and the latest results; 3) foster future collaborations in this area, especially in Asia and also around the world. Young researchers in these fields are strongly encouraged to attend both the School and the Workshop. More information is provided at: http://www.phy.pku.edu.cn/~fusion/summerschool/ The total number of participants of the School and Workshop is limited, so please register as soon as possible. Some limited financial support for local expenses is available for young researchers. We also encourage interested colleagues to register as soon as possible.
