* 박사학위 소지자

* 박사학위 후 관련 연구분야 경력자

* 영어강의 가능자

* 우대조건: 외국인/여성지원자는 동일점수일 경우 채용 우대

3. 결격사유

* 국가공무원법 제33조의 각호의 1에 해당하는 자

* 법률에 의하여 공민권이 정지 또는 박탈된 자

* 병역법 제76조에 따른 병역의무 불이행자

* 아동청소년의 성보호에 관한 법률 제56조에 의해 취업제한 명령을 받은 자

* 다른 공공기관에서 부정한 방법으로 채용된 사실이 적발되어 채용취소 또는 면직된 자로서 처분 일자로부터 5년이 경과하지 않은 자

* 부패방지 및 국민권익위원회의 설치와 운영에 관한 법률 제82조에 따른 비위면직 자로서 취업제한 대상자

4. 전형절차

* 2차: 심층심사

* 3차: 학과 교원인사심의회 심의

* 4차: 단과대학 교원인사심의회 및 교원인사위원회 심의 후 최종 임용 결정

Tenure Track Faculty Positions

The Physics Department at KAIST invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in High-Energy Physics (Experiment), Astrophysics & Astronomy. 

We seek candidates with significant research accomplishments and promise for outstanding future achievement at KAIST. Applicant must have Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field, and some post-doctoral research experience is desirable. The successful applicant is expected to establish a creative, internationally recognized research program. The appointed professor will be committed to excellence in teaching undergraduate or graduate courses, and also to contribution towards other academic activities.

Applicants are required to submit the following materials (PDF file) first by email to the search committee via applyphysics@kaist.ac.kr: 1) a curriculum vitae including a publication list, 2) a list of three references (contact information), 3) PDF copies of five selected publications, and 4) a filled official application form with a statement of research interests (no more than 5 pages) and a statement of teaching plan (no more than 2 pages).

Applications completed by January 17 (Friday), 2025 (before 18:00, KST) will be given full consideration.
