Wuhan University's Department of Astronomy (School of Physics and Technology) is seeking 1-2 postdoctoral researchers in gravitational waves and cosmology. These positions offer an opportunity to collaborate with Prof. Tao Yang, focusing on areas such as data analysis, waveform, parameter estimation, simulation in gravitational waves and their applications in cosmology, astrophysics and fundamental physics, as well as cosmology topics like Hubble tension, dark energy, lensing, and modified gravity theories. Candidates are encouraged to explore their independent research interests as well.

Location: Wuhan, China - a major historical city. Wuhan University is recognized as a top 10 institution nationwide and is celebrated as one of the most picturesque universities in China. The Department of Astronomy is in an exciting phase of growth.

Salary: Ranges from 180,000 to 380,000 RMB/year based on evaluation, with potential increases up to 580,000 RMB/year for outstanding candidates. Additional departmental stipends may be available.

Terms: The position initially covers two years, with the possibility of extending to a third.
