Dear members of the Scientific Detector Workshop community,

We are thrilled to announce that the web pages for the Scientific Detector Workshop 2025 (SDW2025) are now open.

The Australian National University (ANU) will host SDW2025 in Canberra, Australia during 6-10 October 2025, with an opening reception on Sunday evening, 5 October.   Canberra is the national capital of Australia and has several museums and facilities that showcase the culture, science, and flora and fauna of Australia. 

The timing of SDW2025 has been chosen to follow on the heels of the International Astronautical Conference (IAC) that will be held in Sydney, Australia during September 28 – October 3, 2025.

Please register and submit your abstract for an oral or poster presentation.

Please also encourage younger colleagues to join the meeting.  We are pleased to offer grants of up to $3,000 (Australian dollars) to Early Career Researchers (ECR) to support their participation in the workshop.  You will find the option to apply for a $3,000 ECR grant on the registration page.
