Open call for Workshop Proposals, 2025–2026 International Space ScienceInstitute–Beijing Initial deadline: 31 March 2025 http://www.issibj.ac.cn/program/workshops/ The InternationalSpace Science Institute–Beijing (ISSI-BJ) is calling for proposals to host high-levelWorkshops at its premises in the second half of 2025 or 2026. ISSI-BJ offers aninternational platform for research and discussions of topics across the remitof the space sciences (solar and plasma physics, the solar–terrestrialinterface, Earth science from space, planetary science, exoplanets, space-basedastrophysics) in a stimulating, politically neutral environment. All programactivities must be multilateral (with participants representing a minimumof four nationalities) and interdisciplinary. ISSI-BJ shares itsScience Committee with ISSI in Bern, Switzerland. The Science Committeeassesses proposals for scientific meetings twice a year, with their assessmentfocusing on scientific excellence. ISSI-BJ Workshopsare five-day conferences hosting up to 50 scientists, includingearly-career researchers. Participation is by invitation only; selectionof participants is done by an international team of conveners (the “ScientificOrganising Committee”). All participants are invited to participate in thedrafting of one or more review articles which will, in first instance, bepublished (following peer review) in Space Science Reviews (2023 ImpactFactor: 9.1), for eventual bundling of the chapters into a volume of the SpaceScience Series of ISSI .
