Announcement for the 11th KIAS Workshop on Cosmology and Structure Formation

고등과학원에서 주최하는 제 11회 우주론 및 구조 생성 워크샵이 10월 27일부터 11월 2일까지 개최 됩니다.

올해 20주년을 맞이한 이번 워크샵의 목적은 우주론과 구조 생성에 관한 문제들에 대해 전문가들이 모여 활발히 토론하고 공동연구를 수행 할 수 있는 장을 마련하는 것입니다. 워크샵 프로그램은 이론 우주론, 관측 우주론, 전산 천체 물리, 외부 은하 관측, 은하 형성 및 진화, 중력 렌즈 및 다양한 천체 물리 문제에 대한 인공 지능의 적용을 포함합니다.

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the 11th KIAS Workshop on Cosmology and Structure Formation, held from October 27th to November 2nd, 2024, at the Hilton Hotel, Gyeongju.

This workshop, the 11th in a series of biennial meetings and marking 20 years since the first one, aims to bring together worldwide researchers for open and active discussions about recent challenging issues on cosmology and structure formation.

Topics to be discussed during the workshop include

- Theoretical/ Observational cosmology

- Numerical simulations of large scale structure and galaxies

- Epoch of reionization

- Large scale structure and galaxy environments

- Observations of Galaxy and Galaxy clusters

- Properties of Galaxies and their haloes

- Analysis of cosmological and astrophysical data, and machine learning

The conference will be held on the Hilton Hotel in Gyeongju, the historical city of Korea.

Registration is now open, and the deadline for abstract submission is August 31st, 2024. The participation registration closes on September 20th, 2024. Further information can be found on the conference webpage:
