Big Bear Solar Observatory – Call for Observing Proposals – 2017 Session 1

New Jersey Institute of Technology announces the availability of a limited amount of observing time for the solar community at its Big Bear Solar observatory (BBSO) 1.6-m, off-axis New Solar Telescope (NST). The BBSO telescope allocation committee (TAC) is accepting outside proposals for the session 1 (2017 April 15 – Jun 30) observing quarter. Proposals are due Friday, March 10, 2017. Applicants are encouraged to collaborate with BBSO/NJIT scientists to facilitate proposal preparation, observations, and data analysis.
