SMA workshop in Taipei in October |

The Submillimeter Array (SMA) is now
planning to upgrade its receivers
to ultra-wide bandwidth in order to improve its sensitivity and observing
speed dramatically. The new wideband SMA -- the wSMA -- will be ideally
suited to spectral line surveys and studies of submillimeter sources in
the
time domain, as well as a wealth of other applications. This workshop
aims to promote, discuss, and elaborate key science cases for wSMA
observations in the next decade.
Since East Asia could participate in the SMA via EAO in future,
potential
of the new generation instruments would be a matter of interest for prospective
users. Therefore, we would like to invite prospective users in east asia to
this
workshop.
The workshop will be held on Oct. 27 and 28, 2016 in ASIAA,
Taipei,
Taiwan. The workshop website is available at:

Although official deadline for abstract submission has already passed,
