Call for observing proposals for the 45-m

Observing proposals for the 45-m telescope of Nobeyama Radio Observatory (NRO) are invited for the next 34rd observing season. We welcome many observing proposals. Director Nobeyama Radio Observatory, NAOJ Masao Saito ----------- 1. Period: December 2015 to May 2016 2. Open use information: Status report, application form, and other information are available in the following website. http://www.nro.nao.ac.jp/~nro45mrt/html/prop/index-e.html * New multi-beam receiver FOREST is offered for the open use  in a shared-risk mode with some limitations. * S80/ S100 receiver and AOS spectrometer are unavailable for the open use. * Education Program is not offered. 3. Deadline: General Proposal 1st period: 1 September 2015, 15:00JST [06:00UT] General Proposal 2nd period: 1 December 2015, 15:00JST [06:00UT] Short Program:  10 December 2015, 15:00JST [06:00UT] Back-up Program*: 15 September 2015, 15:00JST [06:00UT] *For domestic users only 4. Submission: We accept the proposal only via web submission form. Aaccess the Application Form, fill the webform and upload PDF file of Scientific and Technical Justifications. * We accept an attached PDF file within 3 pages only whose maximum size is 20 MB. * Please attach (cut&paste) the results of our time estimators. http://www.nro.nao.ac.jp/~nro45mrt/html/prop/esub-help.html * Pease check the observations of the legacy projects. http://www.nro.nao.ac.jp/~nro45mrt/html/prop/NP.html We encourage also pilot projects with observing time 100--200 hours because a large project (several hundred hours in several years) will be offered for the open use in the near future. 5. Evaluation: Proposals in the category of General  program are evaluated by referees, and the acceptance is judged by the NRO time allocation committee. Proposals in the categories of Short and Back-up programs are evaluated and judged by the NRO time allocation committee. 6. Time allocation: Observational time will be allocated by the observatory for proposals accepted by the NRO time allocation committee. 7. Questions?
