Position in AGN and galaxy evolution at Seoul National University (with Prof.

Woo due to an unexpected event in hiring. The anticipated start date is
April/May in 2024, but an earlier/later start is also negotiable.
candidates will carry out a variability study focusing on CL-AGNs,
machine-learning analysis, TDE, and reverberation-mapping based on our
long-term monitoring projects, i.e., SNU AGN Monitoring Project
(2015-2021), SAMP II (2022-2024), KMTnet AGN Monitoring Project (2024-2026),
and simulations for the future SPHEREx mission. Depending on the interest
of the candidate, other research projects are also available,
including intermediate-mass black holes, star formation of AGN host galaxies,
and environmental effects on AGN. Independent research topic is also highly

housing is available on campus for monthly rent of ~500 US dollar. The duration
of this position is 2 years, contingent upon satisfactory research performance.
