Theexpectation is that they will work closely with instrumentation teams here atNRC Herzberg, and will be a main contact/interface for these teams with thewider astronomy community. It is expected that they will also conduct their ownresearch on instrumentation, and/or on observational astronomy topics relatedto their instrumentation interests. NRC Herzberg is very active withinstrumentation development from radio through to optical and UV wavelengths.Depending of their research interests, the successful applicant could belocated at either of our sites, at the DRAO (Penticton) or at the DAO(Victoria), both in beautiful British Columbia.  The application deadlineis Friday 16 December 2022.

Thisis the second year we have advertised this position, and this is the first yearit is newly established as a named fellowship.
